THE WATERS - Progressive Folk Rock

Where love and music collide, you will find The Waters. An acoustic duo comprised of singer/songwriter Krystal Baker and guitarist Sturgis Waters based out of Phoenix, AZ, they bring a minimalist approach to progressive folk-rock music. Her haunting vocals combined with his colorful guitar melodies blend to create a fabric of intimate conversation. The modest and dynamic aspects of the duo create an authentic experience. Once compared to a more multi-dimensional yet similar vocal sound to that of Natalie Merchant, coupled by the reminiscent guitar styling’s of Tim Reynolds, you will find a great combination of distinctive yet familiar sounds. Playing both their original songs as well as unique arrangements of other artists, their love of music is something we can all connect with.

CAMERON DEGURSKI – Soulful Acoustic Folk

Straightforward, honest, and un-apologetically raw, Arizona-native Cameron DeGurski (dee-grr-skee, ya'll) doesn't mind baring his soul behind the microphone.

With a catalog of tastefully re-arranged and soul-infused covers, DeGurski bridges genres from folk to funk, on a decade-spanning tear through iconic Rock, Pop, Soul, and Americana. Performing only what he can draw emotion from has created an eclectic collision of moody, deep-cut ballads, and uniquely swung Top 40 offerings.

"I'd rather play something that exudes emotion, and make an audience feel something, ANYTHING, than regurgitate the tunes you can play in any jukebox, at any bar in town. If you want the jukebox, I'll give you a quarter. If you want to share some energy, and leave feeling a little more human, 'I'm your Huckleberry.'"
